Year in Review: 2014

Year in Review 2014
With 2014 nearly at it’s end (how did that happen?!) it seems only fitting that we recap on some of our most successful projects over the past year today, by sharing our year in review. It’s definitely been a year of 2 halves, with very little DIY (sad face) in the second half of 2014. Hopefully 2015 will be the year that changes that!

To start of 2015 we completed our bathroom renovation, before fitting new flooring in our bedroom.

The living room then got some much needed attention, with some built-ins added and a super easy DIY for some additional storage.

We then set about making the smallest bedroom in our house into a useful space, turning a dead space into something useful and creating our own custom wallpaper when the one we wanted was too expensive.

One of our biggest projects this year was exploring alternatives to traditional re-upholstery. Be sure to check our attempts with fabric spray paint and then chalk paint to get our desired finish.

We rounded off our projects with a great DIY way to organise coffee pods before sharing some free watercolour printables for you guys to use use.

Phew – looking back it feels like we accomplished quite a lot! What are your goals for 2015, are you feeling inspired by any of our previous projects?
