Bathroom Renovation – Part 2

Bathroom renovation

Before Christmas we shared part one of our bathroom renovation with you. We thankfully managed to complete the renovation prior to the main event (just!) but we’ve been taking our time getting back into the groove of blogging and just general real life! Still we’re back today, with some finished photos of our latest project.

Our downstairs bathroom is pretty small, and very hard to photograph! However the pictures *should* be good enough for you to see the improvements we’ve made!

We replaced the old pink suite (nice!) with a white one, and added a corner basin to try and maximise the space. The dado rail, red wallpaper and yellow walls have gone, and been replaced with crisp white and grey. Simon also created a fake wall behind the toilet (our new one fitted funny) and cleverly boxed in the sink piping with a removable tiled wall. We also replaced the outdated fittings and added some monochrome towels.

So, what do you think? We certainly prefer it, and it’s nice that our guests now know that red and yellow was definitely not our choice for decor!
