July round up

July round up

See you later July! How quickly is this year going by, it seems like it’ll be autumn in no time. Here’s a round up of the projects we tackled in July.

We started the month by sharing the final stage of our first furniture renovation. We were so pleased with the final result and the chair looks gorgeous in our bedroom. I’m not sure if my hands have quite recovered from removing all the original staples yet! See how we did it here, and check out Part 1 and Part 2 to see the renovation step-by-step.

We also shared a couple of our favourite tried and tested recipes – one savoury and one sweet. Both are really easy, and pretty quick to make. You can find the chicken here, and the classic key lime pie with a twist here.

We finished up the month by continuing our love affair with spray paint, adding a touch of glamour to some cheap Ikea frames and a neutral wall. See the fun we had with a stencil here, and find out how to add some glamour to your own photo frames here.

Here’s hoping August is just as productive!

    HI Sammi,

That chair looks wonderful! You’ve done a great job!

The combination of the fabric and the crisp white is so elegant.
