Recently we’ve been feeling a little blah about our living room – it just didn’t feel as lived in as the other rooms in our home. Its quite a calm room, with a mixture of neutral tones and browns in varying textures to add a bit of interest.
We spent a lot of Sunday trying to decide what to do with the room to make it feel more homely. Originally we thought about adding grey and repainting the walls – but it soon dawned on us that grey might not be quite the flush of colour we were hoping for!
We flicked through some home design books, without much luck, before googling brown and cream to see what other possibilities were out there. This was how we stumbled across Teal and I ended up spending a lovely afternoon happily pinning on Pinterest. My favourite inspiration images are below – we’ve already brought a couple of teal cushions, and a £10 coffee table to repaint courtesy of eBay, I can’t wait to share more as the room starts to come together…
